Summary of Journey to the Centre of the Earth

If you have been reading our blogs you will be aware that sometime ago Kate Mandalov one of our script writers had written a steampunk comedy called The Fantastical Adventures of Percival Van Cleef. The Cardiff School of Cultural & Creative Industries were kind enough to donate some of their time and effort into creating this fantastic audio drama.

The Sonic Society has an annual event called Summer Stock, where podcasters from around the world are invited to perform a classic radio play from the early 20thCentury. This year The Drama Pod will be playing first ... so we are bringing out something a little special.  The Drama Pod team will be producing The Thought -an episode from a radio series called The Haunting Hour.

Mike Hanson one of The Drama Pod's voice actors was invited to spend some time with the CBS Mystery Theatre. Here in his own words he can tell you about the event!- Tim H

The Drama Pod is going to compete in the TROPFEST which is an international film festival. You may have seen some of our eariler pieces such as DEAD CENTRE and if you havent you can watch it on this page down below.

We have not forgotten our audiophile fans and so we will  release within the next few days the final episode of campfire stories! We will also be releasing a reading of the classic Skylark of Space a classic sci fi novel written by E.E Doc Smith.

This Halloween we will release a collection of audio horror for your pleasure! It will be a combination of original works and we will be throwing in some classics from Edgar Allan Poe and the Master of Horror, HP Lovecraft! So tune in to this website on the 30th of October!

Thats right I have published a newsletter! I will only publish them monthly because I do not want people to be innundated with emails but if you are enjoying our shows please pass these newsletters to your friends.
